General
Welcome to SIBA – The Restaurant, an iconic 5- star culinary adventure in the heart of the bustling Table Bay Hotel. These terms and conditions are designed to ensure a exceptional dining experience for all our wonderful guests.
Securing Reservations:
Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person. A 50% deposit of the chosen menu is required to secure the booking. Kindly ensure that this deposit is paid promptly, as we are unable to hold your reservation without it. We recommend securing your reservation early to guarantee your preferred dining time.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. For individual bookings, we kindly ask for cancellations to be made at least 48 hours in advance. For group bookings, we require more notice—between 4 and 30 days, depending on the party size. Late cancellations will incur a fee of 50% of the total booking, and no-shows will result in a full forfeiture of the amount paid.
Arrival and Seating
We look forward to welcoming you on time for your reservation. Please note that we can hold your table for up to 15 minutes beyond your reservation time. After this period, we may need to reallocate the table to other guests. Seating arrangements are thoughtfully made based on availability, party size, and our restaurant’s needs.
Dress Code
As a fine dining establishment, we kindly request that guests adhere to a smart casual dress code. This helps maintain the elegant atmosphere we strive to create.
Food and Beverage
To ensure a seamless dining experience, we do not permit outside food and beverages. Our curated wine list has been carefully selected to complement our dishes, and while we do our utmost to accommodate dietary restrictions, we cannot guarantee that all dishes are allergen-free. We also kindly remind guests that alcohol service is reserved for those over 18, and identification may be requested.
Service Charge and Gratuities
A 13% service charge will be graciously added to your final bill. Any additional gratuities are entirely at your discretion and are always appreciated by our team.
Payment
For your convenience and safety, we operate as a cashless establishment, accepting card payments only. All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated, and we kindly ask that payment be made in full before you leave the restaurant.
Personal Belongings
Your belongings are important to you, and we encourage you to keep them safe. While we do our best to ensure a secure environment, we are unable to accept liability for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
Behaviour and Conduct
At SIBA – The Restaurant, we are committed to providing a respectful and enjoyable atmosphere for all our guests. We kindly ask that all guests treat our staff and fellow diners with courtesy. In rare instances of inappropriate behavior, we reserve the right to refuse service, cancel reservations, or ask guests to leave the premises.
Child Policy
In order to maintain a serene dining environment, we regret that we are unable to accommodate infants, toddlers, or children under the age of 12 at SIBA – The Restaurant.
Gift Vouchers
Our gift vouchers, valid until January 31, 2025, offer a wonderful way to share the SIBA experience. Please note that vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable. We encourage voucher holders to make reservations in advance, and our admin staff will assist with voucher redemption.
Liability
While we take every measure to ensure your comfort and safety, we cannot be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or circumstances beyond our control.
